Wonderful successor to "Batman: The Animated Series"
Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and fellow producers of the award winning "Batman: The Animated Series" did a wonderful adaptation of the Man of Steel to the small screen. The voice acting was, as with "BTAS", superb and excellent, especially with Tim Daly as Superman, Clancy Brown as Luthor, and Dana Delany, best known to fans of "BTAS" as Andrea Beaumont in the underrated "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm" film as Lois. The background and scene pieces were excellent and the character designs were so futuristic and popular that it was used for all future series, from The New Batman Adventures to Batman Beyond and now with Justice League. It was sad to see the show end with the horrific two-parter "Legacy", but I appreciate it for what it represented and will treasure it alongside Batman: The Animated Series.
